In this episode, we continue our talk with Bob Gebert and about his first feature, “11 Minutes Ago”, a sci-fi, time travel, romantic comedy.
Bob will tell us more about his shooting schedule, or in this case, the single shooting day. He’ll talk about some of the technical problems that arose, and how you should plan for potential problems when you make your movie.
We’ll also discuss how he approached post production and the challenges of bringing Hollywood-quality production values to a movie with little to no budget.

What is “the FNF crowd?”
F and F is short for Friends and Family.
This is not a cell phone plan. It is the usual first audience (and all too often, the only audience) for a first movie. Getting your movie past that crowd obviously means it is being seen by people outside of your immediate circle of friends, most likely at public screenings. Film festivals for example.
We will be talking about festivals in an upcoming episode, so stay tuned.
